En el año de 1974 las Naciones Unidas consientes de la urgente necesidad de proteger y cuidar nuestro hábitat decretó el 05 de Junio como “Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente”.  Por aquella década ya se habían encendido los focos rojos de: “PELIGRO”, de: Humanidad “aguas” te estas auto-consumiendo,  de: Hombre “cuidado”;  tus mares, tus plantas, tus ríos, tu tierra, el aire, el calentamiento global… Pero nada, tan es así que el 05 de Junio pasa desapercibido, leí pocas plumas dedicadas al asunto ambiental, apenas Comisiones y áreas de Gobierno verdes alcanzan a destinar actos de Conciencia Social para conmemorar este día, cuando debe ser una tarea general como Colectivos, como Ciudadanos, Como Gobierno en todos los niveles, un tema de legislación continua para salvar bajo ley, animales en peligro de extinción y sobre todo poner freno a la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero, principales causantes de la alta temperatura en el Planeta. 

Hoy en el maravilloso mar del Caribe mexicano se presenta un fenómeno, un problema cada vez más grande, la invasión del Sargazo, no hay máquinas suficientes, ni manos que alcancen para poder levantar esta plaga, plaga que lleva semanas; es una desastrosa advertencia; a mi juicio la más latente pues se trata de la contaminación de los mares, la contaminación del 70% de lo que mal llamamos planeta Tierra.

Observé un video de un hombre desesperado que textual exclamaba ¡Señor Presidente, el sargazo no es un tema menor! ¡Señor Presidente Resuelva ya! ¡Nada de que usted tiene otros datos!…. Perdón, pero no es Señor Presidente, fuimos todos.

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, QUINTANA ROO, 29MAYO2019.- La empresa Dianco instalará en Benito Juárez una planta para fabricar celulosa, fertilizante orgánico a base de sargazo, con capacidad de procesar toda la macroalga que llega a las costas del Caribe Mexicano. Héctor Romero, director comercial de la firma, dijo que en los próximos tres meses se instalará una planta piloto y antes de que concluya el año esperan tener la planta procesadora final, capaz de procesar 600 toneladas diarias de sargazo, con una inversión aproximada de 1.5 millones de dólares. Las playas han perdido el color cristalino, peces mueren por falta de luz y del oxígeno que les roba el sargazo, las tortugas se ven afectadas, y con ello la economía y el turismo nacional. Desde mayo las autoridades y hoteleros han removido 130 mil metros cúbicos de 17 playas en 7 Municipios del Estado Caribeño.

Hasta este día el Gobierno Federal ha aportado 62 millones de pesos más los 20 millones que ha aportado el Estado, para intentar desviar el sargazo en la corriente marina. Estimado lector: cuantísimo recurso  desperdiciado en detener algo que no tiene fin, algo que no es ciclo biológico del mar, algo que es razón natural de la Contaminación y si continuamos como hasta las últimas décadas, con esta lógica del capital: producir, consumir, comprar y más comprar y después tirar, los esfuerzos realizados serán sólo cosméticos, de mediana reparación.

Han creado un Comité de alto nivel para contrarrestar el problema con la lógica de la Ciencia, espero en algo ayude, sin embargo, la solución real está en detener la grave contaminación. El sargazo viene del Atlántico norte, y llega a nuestras Playas por culpa del cambio climático y las altas temperaturas del mar. Estimados lectores aún estamos en el mes del MEDIOS AMBIENTE, EL MES DE JUNIO. Hagamos eco de lo contrario corremos el riesgo de enfermar sin hogar.
